Phase Pop Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Phase Pop is a mobile puzzle game developed and published by Unknown Coast LLC ("Unknown Coast," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you play Phase Pop and the choices available to you.

1. Game progress and information you provide

Local game data. Phase Pop saves puzzle progress, unlocked levels, game settings, and related preferences on your device so you can continue playing. The game does not require you to register an Unknown Coast account or submit your name, phone number, postal address, or email address to play. The device's operating system may separately provide backup or restore features.

Support messages. If you contact us by email, we receive the address and information you choose to include in your message and use it to respond and handle your request.

2. Optional advertising (Google AdMob)

Phase Pop uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded advertisements, such as ads a player may choose to watch for an additional hint or help advancing past a puzzle. Ad availability varies. You can continue using the core game without choosing a rewarded ad.

Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically processes and shares certain technical information for serving and measuring ads, ad-related analytics, security, and fraud prevention. This can include:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
  • advertising identifiers and other device or app identifiers, when available;
  • app and advertisement interactions, such as app launches, taps, views, and ad impressions; and
  • diagnostic and performance information, such as app launch time and technical performance.

Depending on your location, device settings, and advertising consent choices, you may receive personalized or non-personalized ads. Google and its advertising partners process information under their own policies.

Learn more about Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps and sites that use its services.

3. Advertising consent and privacy choices

Where required by applicable law and Google's advertising requirements, Phase Pop uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising consent or privacy choices. Players in certain regions may be asked to make these choices. Where a privacy-options control is required, it will be available inside the game so you can revisit your options.

You can also manage some advertising preferences through Android and Google account settings. Declining personalized advertising does not prevent you from playing the puzzles, although available ads and rewards may differ.

4. How information is used and shared

We use local game data to maintain your progress and preferences. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process and share technical data for ad delivery, ad measurement, related analytics, and preventing fraud, subject to applicable privacy choices and their policies.

Phase Pop does not require a login or operate a public player-profile database. The planned version does not include a separate Google Analytics for Firebase gameplay analytics integration or an online leaderboard. AdMob still performs advertising-related measurement and data processing as described above.

We do not sell player email addresses received through support messages to data brokers. Depending on applicable law, certain advertising-related disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal data; applicable rights and choices may be exercised through available privacy controls or by contacting us.

5. Retention and deletion

Locally saved progress generally stays on your device until you clear the game's app data, uninstall the game, or overwrite the saved information. Device backup features, if enabled, may preserve copies outside the app. Clearing data or uninstalling can cause lost game progress.

Advertising information processed by Google and its partners is retained according to their policies and settings. Uninstalling Phase Pop does not necessarily delete information already processed by those services.

If you contact us for support, we retain your correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter, maintain necessary records, or comply with applicable obligations. To request access, deletion, or other action concerning information controlled by Unknown Coast, email us using the contact details below. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and explain any limitations relating to provider-managed records.

6. Children's privacy

Phase Pop is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and respond appropriately.

7. Security

We aim to limit unnecessary information collection and use reasonable measures to protect information we control. Google states that information collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Google Play and third-party services

If you download or update Phase Pop through Google Play, Google handles store-related information under its own terms and policies. Phase Pop may also rely on standard operating-system functionality to save app data and restore permitted backups.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when Phase Pop's features, SDKs, or legal requirements change. For example, adding cloud saves, public leaderboards, accounts, or separate gameplay analytics would require us to review these disclosures. The effective date above will reflect future revisions, and additional notice will be given when required by law.
